About us

A tiny team, a shared frustration with time zones, and a simple tool called Discord Timestamp.

Our mission

Discord Timestamp started as a side project by a small group of friends who were tired of every event announcement turning into a long thread of “what time is that for me?”. Our mission is simple: make it effortless for Discord communities and teams in different time zones to share one line of text and know that it will show the right local time for everyone.

What we do

We build and maintain a lightweight web tool that turns natural language like “next Friday at 7pm” into precise, ready‑to‑paste time codes for Discord. Behind the scenes there is just a handful of people who care deeply about clear communication, good UX, and tools that feel friendly rather than corporate.

How we work

We work in short, focused bursts alongside our day jobs and studies. We talk directly to users, we ship small improvements often and we try to keep the interface as calm and uncluttered as possible. When you send us a note through the contact form, it lands right in the inbox we share as a team – there is no ticket system and no call centre, just real humans supporting a tool they personally use.

Built for global communities

From gaming guilds and study servers to remote startups and hobby communities, many of the spaces we love live inside Discord. Discord Timestamp is our way of giving those communities a tiny, practical upgrade: fewer misunderstandings about time, more people showing up at the right moment, and a little less friction in everyday coordination.

What we care about

We try to design Discord Timestamp with empathy: clear language, sensible defaults, and honest communication about what the tool can and cannot do. We value privacy, simplicity and kindness – both in how the interface feels and in how we respond when people reach out.

What makes Discord Timestamp special
  • Natural‑language input that lets you think in phrases, not in date‑time pickers.
  • Outputs that are tailored specifically for Discord, using all official timestamp formats.
  • A fast, distraction‑free interface that you can keep open in a tab and use all day.
  • No login, no pricing tables, no dark patterns – just a straightforward utility.
  • Built and maintained by a small team that personally relies on the tool for their own communities.
  • Continuous, incremental improvements inspired by real‑world feedback from users.
How this helps you
  • Less back‑and‑forth about “my time vs. your time” in chat threads.
  • Fewer missed events because someone misread a timezone or date.
  • Clearer announcements that look professional even for small, cosy servers.
  • A single source of truth that you can paste into multiple channels and docs.
  • Confidence that your international members will see the same moment represented correctly.
  • A gentler, more human experience around scheduling in general.
Our tiny team

We are a small, distributed team of developers and community organisers who met through the same kinds of Discord servers that now use this tool. We are not a big company – just a handful of people who enjoy solving a very specific, very common problem in a thoughtful way. When you use Discord Timestamp, you are supporting a warm little project rather than yet another faceless platform.

Staying in touch

Because we are a small team, we do not maintain a public phone number or support email address. Instead, we have a simple contact form embedded on the site. It keeps things manageable for us while still giving you a direct line to the people who build and maintain Discord Timestamp.

Contact form (placeholder)

Here we will embed a small iframe‑based contact form so that you can send us feedback, questions or bug reports without leaving the page. For now, this section uses a placeholder URL – the project owner will replace it with the real form URL once it is ready.

Discord Timestamp was created as a side project by a small group of friends who were tired of time‑zone confusion. We launched the first public version in 2026 and continue to improve it step by step.: 2024
